Like the name would suggest, the White OG strain’s genetic lineage consists of the OG Kush and White Widow strains.
Being in the San Fernando Valley, we run into a variety of OG Kush strains. Thanks to this, it can be difficult to find a batch of OG that really stands out.
With this in mind, I was excited to see what sort of impression the White OG strain would leave.

If White OG strain were a person, the first thing she’d do is flaunt her trophy cabinet. This award-winning hybrid strain definitely has a taste and aroma that have been tried and tested, so you know it’s good! It’s mostly indica, and you can really feel that in the high it gives you—it’s all about that strong, body-focused vibe. When she’s in her flowering stage, you’ll notice those rounded buds starting to form, all covered in a frosty layer of trichomes that gives them that sugary appearance. The earthy flavors mixed with a touch of lemon really bring out her traditional genetics.
It takes just 9 to 11 weeks for flowering, and the great thing is she’s pretty easygoing, thriving whether you grow her indoors or outdoors. She really enjoys stretching, so if you’re growing indoors, be prepared for that.
Seeing as both of its parents are on the heavier end of the spectrum, I decided to wait until the evening before reviewng the White OG strain. I soon came to realize that this was a pretty smart decision on my part. As far as its aroma/taste is concerned, this batch of the White OG strain was a near-perfect mix between its parent strains. I began to feel my anxiety taper off after just a few minutes of medicating with this strain. I found this to be quite useful in the middle of the day, although I probably wouldn’t consider it to be the best choice for morning medicating – larger doses seemed to bring about a couchlock effect that made it a battle to get up from my seat at times.
